• Lead a team of four supplier quality assurance engineers to conduct root cause analysis for quality issues, implementing containment actions and corrective action sign off through 8D methodologies.• Responsible for sign off of capacity and supplier quality documentation, including SOPs, control plans, PFMEA, inspection checklists and training materials to ensure a clean transition through the product development lifecycle.• Collaborated with suppliers and cross functional teams to implement and develop their Total Quality Management system improving supplier readiness for existing and new product launches.• Managed quality performance testing with supply base for cosmetic exteriors for Range and Land Rover programs, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable feedback to development teams.• Developed and a new quality process to ensure prototype suppliers can compliantly supply production intent parts with zero defects to support new product launches.• Delivered a cross functional lean Six Sigma project to the vehicle assembly process driving improvements in product quality [zero defects], operational efficiency [+15% right first time] and cost [£100K p/a rework cost save].
