Thomas Long has been in business in Santa Barbara for over 16 years. Before that he worked in South East Asia for many years in the 1990's designing international airports in many countries. Thomas has over twenty five years of experience in a wide range of structural design and management. He specialized in airline transportation facilities, office buildings, large seismic retrofit, civil, and custom homes.Thomas has held many Senior Structural Engineer titles, and has worked with others to accomplish challenging and complex projects. As a manager and owner he has been able to motivate others successfully to accomplish difficult goals. He enters every project with a view of the desired results and consistently provides a level of dedication that far exceeds any expectations. He has worked extensively throughout the world, and has strong communications skills and the ability with work with diverse cultures. Thomas has been doing consulting work in Central California, managing engineering, drafting, client communications, and construction administration for timber frame, steel, and concrete framed structures.I have the ability to serve as a problem-solving liaison among wide ranging technical experts. As my references will confirm, I am practical in decisions and can easily establish trusting relationships, both inside outside the organization.
