• Support the international movement of Pulp, Paper and Personal Care products from multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities across North America.• Global responsibility for Ocean Carrier Relationships, Rate Negotiation, Business Model development and Ocean & Freight Forwarder businesses on each trade lane, including: N. • Negotiate all international ocean Contracts, with accountability for annual ocean freight spend in excess of $325M• Manage ocean carrier relationships and the strategic direction of the organization’s import ocean methodology• Assure the best rates and most favorable Contract terms are secured, regardless of market conditions• Secure premiere service and sufficient space capable of fully accommodating import requirements, including regular volumes, surges, seasonality, and “special” programs• Work collaboratively with multiple business partners, including ocean carriers, global sourcing, vendors, retail product groups, and brokers to assure the import supply chain works effectively and efficiently• SME on special projects, including: Specialized ocean Contracts, containing market indexed measurements; BCO Chassis management initiative

• Manage ocean Contracts and Amendments • Strategic analysis of rates, maintenance of rate tables and databases • Provide support for ocean Contract negotiations, existing and new import programs • Compile, prepare, and grade quarterly Ocean Carrier Report Card performance indicator

• Manage strategic market segments, including long term pricing strategy, contract negotiations and renewals • Maximize profitability and revenue contribution of market segments • Develop pricing strategies with quantitative analysis for annual bid process and use of various customer RFP’s • Work with sales to identify business opportunities and determine steps required to secure new business • Review contract boilerplate language and consult legal and risk management to assure mutual agreement • Work in conjunction with inland providers to establish and maintain an inland zip code tariff to assure volatile inland costs are fully recovered • Appointed to project team to assist and guide IT development of company costing tools
