With academic achievements including a Doctorate in Pharmacy and a Ph.D. in the chemistry of natural substances, my professional journey spans over two decades, cultivating an expertise in pharmacognosy, botany and chemotaxonomy, leading to the characterization of novel therapeutic natural molecules. My career started at the Institut de Recherche et Development (IRD) in New Caledonia and the Institute of Chemistry of Natural Substances (ICSN) in Paris, followed by a transition to the University of Oxford and their clinical diseases major oversea program in Vietnam and subsequently Thailand. In 2022, I co-founded Le Laboratoire Olfactif du Siam (LOSiam), marking my entry into the world of entrepreneurship. Located in Chiang Mai, this startup involves the establishment and operation of an extraction facility specializing in natural fragrances and aromas. Our facility exclusively utilizes locally-sourced fresh resources, thereby shedding a commercial light on the profound knowledge of the local population.This initiative represents a deliberate effort to harmonize entrepreneurship with the preservation and utilization of indigenous knowledge, emphasizing sustainable practices and presenting original extracts within the fragrance and aroma industry.
