As an Intermediate Site Reliability Engineer at Citi, I am part of the Securities, Markets, Banking and Functions segment (SMBF) that provides financial solutions to corporations, governments, and institutions. I use my IT, software, and technical skills to contribute to automation and tooling to help support the SMBF segment at Citi.I graduated from Ulster University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering in 2023, achieving a 1st Class degree (2nd highest student in my class). I received multiple Dean's List Awards for outstanding academic achievement, and I obtained a Microsoft Technology Associate certification in database administration fundamentals. I also gained valuable work experience as a Human Resources Project Manager and a Technical Services Administrator at Combined Facilities Management (CFM) Ltd, where I led and supported various IT projects and initiatives, such as the implementation of BambooHR, a cloud-based HR software system, for a company with over 250 employees.I am passionate about software engineering and IT, and I enjoy learning new technologies and applying them to solve real-world problems. I am motivated by the opportunity to work with a global and diverse team of experts at Citi, and to contribute to the innovation and excellence of the SMBF business. I am also eager to develop my professional skills and competencies, and to pursue further education and certifications in the field.
