I got my first shot at working in a lab at BYU thanks to Gary Watt and Brian Woodfield. As an undergraduate research employee I conducted basic research in kinetics, mechanism, and function of metalloproteins and redox enzymes. I worked across several projects, including highly anaerobic enzymes and culturing microorganisms. I authored six peer-reviewed.
