I provided leadership and created the analytical foundations for a new and more practical strategy for modernization and integration across a major business segment that manages taxpayer accounts.The core processing for individual taxpayer accounts was transformed from a weekly process to a daily process – improving timeliness of data for IRS customer services and compliance functions. It provides taxpayers with faster refunds and faster resolution of complex tax account issues. The solution also established a database for all individual taxpayer accounts.
