CurrentDevelopment for LG’s Enhanced Lightweight Cryptography (ELWC) library for embedded applications. Developed low-level Curve 25519 field operations in assembly for the Synopsys ARC processor as well as a generic C implementation for low-end 32-bit processors (including RISC V). Implemented various improvements in the higher level Ed25519 code that significantly improved the performance on all supported platforms.Implemented a post quantum version of LG’s eSCMS (Universal Butterfly Key Expansion) scheme on the Utimaco Security Server CSe HSM. This was presented at the Utimaco Applied Crypto Symposium in the US 2018.Implemented LG’s eSCMS on the Infineon SLI37 HSM. Additional proof of concept of running LG’s ELWC on the SLI37’s ARM processor to implement ED25519 support.Extended the SPOG/cuPoly GPU homomorphic encryption library to implement a practical proof of concept use case of fingerprint identification using convolutional neural network inference. Additional research of using homomorphic encryption to perform machine learning training.Wrote simulations to study the characteristics of the binary hash tree used in the Activation Codes for Pseudonym Certificates (ACPC) scheme. Namely the loss of anonymity when clients download activation codes and the size of the hash tree when vehicles are revoked. The results of this research and proposed solutions are part of the uACPC paper.Research and development of LG’s AaaS (Authentication as a Service) technology based on authentication using blind signatures. This includes not only the generation of anonymous X.509 certificates, but the back end software to manage certificate expiration and prevent certificate reuse if necessary.Research and development of LG’s AaaS CV2X solution which utilizes LG’s uACPC and Anonymous Authentication as a Service technology. Solution includes both in vehicle and backend software.
