Fincog is an innovative strategy consulting boutique in the Fintech and Banking space assisting challengers and incumbents in shaping their future using market research, strategy consulting, and guided implementation. The team consists of former Top tier strategy consultants and senior industry experts. I supported (neo)banks and other fintech executive leadership teams with strategy, corporate finance and product innovation.

Optimisation of branch network and service channel.Tasks included project and stakeholder management, leading a team of business analysts, strategic current state assessment, developing a new servicing and distribution network by facilitating design sprints, identifying local opportunities and implementation of new branch concepts.Project results include decision to close loss making branches, implementation of a detailed data-driven value model and launch of several new branch concepts in pilots.

Following my passion for travel and outdoor activities, I launched an outdoor adventure tour company in the hidden Eurasian gem that is Georgia. Unfortunately, I decided to stop activities due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

The 4th largest bank in the Netherlands. The corporate strategy team is a small and specialised team that focusses on both corporate and business strategy, operational and efficiency issues, future business models, and corporate finance working closely together with Tier 1 management consulting (MBB).This period included a 10 month break to volunteer in Microfinance and travel the world.

Selected in the financial trainee program, I worked as a pricing analyst for the ALM business unit developing a thorough understanding of balance sheet management, capital management and savings & lending product pricing.

Selected for a well-sought after internship to finish my Master degree in International Financial Economics, I conducted a quantitative assessment on the level of competition for the non-life insurance industry in 36 countries under the supervision of the Strategy department of the Dutch Central Bank. In addition, I contributed in the project to set-up a €170 mln SME specific investment fund.
