Cofounded Auctoritas in 2019. My role is the COO and as such I have been handling the government regulations and paperwork , as well as all contract negotiations and fulfillment of same with our customers. Additional responsibilities are accounting, hiring, firing, training, and assisting the CEO in growing the company by signing and negotiating clients.Since the work we perform in testing our clients software is under strict non-disclosure agreements, Auctoritas created under my leadership a software project that is used as the source for examples of the work that we provide for our clients. This includes, creating test plans, automated tests, test cases, and bug reports, to mention a few of our services.

Lead Instructor for a Software Development Fundamentals Course designed to train SQA and DevOp engineers on processes and tools such as automation testing with Selenium. Each class starts once enough students have been recruited for a viable class.

I was the liaison for First Foundry and the majority of their clients. 95% of our engineering staff was placed with the clients I oversee. I was responsible for managing these relationships and ensuring client satisfaction with our company's services. I created, implemented, and managed strategic plans for our clients, and identified new business opportunities for First Foundry. In that capacity, I brought in approximately $1.5 million of new revenue for the company. As a member of the senior staff other responsibilities included managing employees, interviewing and screening technical candidates, and working with the engineering team to create processes and initiatives for staff training and development.

(Playco acquired Game Closure)In charge of Quality Assurance for the North American and European game development studios. Duties included managing the bug database, training new team members, validating specs and code. Created and maintained automation test frameworks and scripts as well as smoke testing builds. Committed and reviewed code in GitHub, as well as traditional software testing duties.

In charge of creating in-game testing tools using Javascript, and testing pull requests (PRs) in GitHub on our product lines. I constructed an automation test framework for our products using Selenium, Python, and Sikuli to automate canvas game events. I then scripted these tests using this framework. I assisted build engineers to create and test an AWS CodeBuild / Jenkins build system for our products. Other duties included game testing, training co-workers on tools and processes, administering Jira and wiki systems.

In charge of the QA department and testing Instant Messenger games on iOS and Android devices, and Chrome browsers. I was the front end administrator for Jira and Confluence for all company products. In addition to writing and running test plans and cases, I used Python and Javascript to create and execute automated tests and testing tools. My main task was to test PRs before they were merged into that project’s main repository. Other duties involved hiring and managing QA contractors and outside test firms, creating tutorials for our proprietary SDK, and attending trade shows.

Short term contract helping with the automated and regression testing needed to ship the 2017 release of BlackBag Technologies premier software product, BlackLight. Duties included, filing bugs, creating data sets for test cases, writing scripts, and executing tests.

As the first QA employee at the company, I was responsible for designing the testing infrastructure from the layout and workflow of the bug database to the format used for the test plans the department crafted. Additionally, I lead the test effort on the applications that were shipped with the company’s Linux based eReader tablet. In this role I analyzed design documents and product requirements in order to plan the testing effort that would be required to bring these applications to market. I created and documented test cases, test plans, reports, and automated scripts in Perl and BASH. Other responsibilities involved setting up test labs and equipment, front end JIRA administration, recruiting and interviewing candidates, training new hires, proofing documents, as well as logging and regressing bugs. My peers honored me with a company award for dedication and hard work.

I was responsible for testing both the server and client sides of the company’s flagshipWindows video teleconferencing software. I was in charge of testing various businessinitiatives as well as mentoring junior members of my team. In this role I analyzed design documents and product requirements to plan the testing effort that would be required to bring the products to market. I created and documented test cases, test plans, reports, and automated scripts using Perl and Python. I also setup networks and lab equipment. Used software tools such as WireShark to analyze transmission packets Other responsibilities involved recruiting and interviewing candidates, training new hires, proofing documents, logging and regressing bugs, and assisting in the transition of thecompany from using PVCS tracker to JIRA for its bug database.

I was responsible for testing various components of a proprietary authoring systemdesigned to allow end users to use XML to write Java source code and then run theirprograms on cable set-top boxes over a client/server network. My job entailed writingtest programs in this language, automating these test programs, and creating web basedreports from the automated tests. Other responsibilities included helping to train newhires, proofing documents, writing test cases, logging and regressing bugs.

I was responsible for testing both EchoStar and DirecTV satellite boxes. These boxes arecombination satellite receivers, Internet capable set top boxes, and digital videorecorders. My primary job duties were to test their Internet features, such as email, HTMLconformity to standards, and Flash compatibility. Other functional areas I was responsiblefor were instant messenger, modem protocols, and JavaScript. I used C# to writeautomated tests for these boxes. Other duties involved writing test cases, logging andregressing bugs.

* In charge of Infogrammes’ North American SQA department.* Twenty direct reports and a staff of 37 comprised of permanent, temporary, and contract employees* Responsible for the QA of approximately 30 software titles and 80 SKUs on seven different systems.* Reduced staff turnover by 55%, while reducing the department’s annual budget by over $250,000.Responsibilities included staffing, training, supervising, and scheduling work assignments. Our testgroup also maintained a PC and Macintosh compatibility lab, which required me to keep abreast of all the latest hardware and software innovations. Other duties included creating department budgets, outlining and implementing test procedures, and conducting employee reviews. I completely reworked the training program at the company as well as redefining the quality standards necessary in order to ship a product.
