I maintained the sole position of crew chief, as I continued to work for the largest builders in the state, including Richmond American Homes, Meritage Homes, NewTown Builders, and Oakwood Homes. I have worked for multiple custom home builders including GJ Gardner high-end homes on multiple acre parcels. Our company has staked upwards of 5,500 homes in one year ranging from Fort Collins to Pueblo. I have crew chiefed three-man crews and have worked solo using GPS and Robotic Total Stations whenever the need arose. Each crew has grossed over $500k revenue per year as the company has grown from one crew back to five full-time crews.

I advanced quickly to the crew chief position and have led my own crew since 1997. B&J grew very quickly asthe largest home-builder surveyor in the state staking over 5,500 houses a year. At the height of thehousing-boom we had seven two-man field crews and employed over twenty office staff. I helped perfect fieldprocedures and established multiple checks and balances to eliminate error from all facets of our jobs.Accomplishments● Successfully completed hundreds of jobs using Trimble GPS and robotic total stations.● Increased knowledge base with multiple homebuilders along the front range.● Trained dozens of employees to build a solid field staff as the company grew in size.

I learned very quickly both field and office procedures. Using Sokkia total stations and automatic levels, Iquickly became proficient in all areas, including stakeout, drainages and ILC’s for our multiple clients. Beingable to work both in the field and the office using the latest version of AutoCAD, I progressed through fullimmersion in the job.

Achieved my PLS while leading field through housing crisis as sole Crew Chief. Saved company hundreds of thousands of dollars creating checks and balances in the field. Improved quality of surveying with multiple techniques developed in the field. I have experience from staking houses and condo complexes up to staking of electrical sub-stations.
