Company: DynCorp International FZ-LLC Title: Movement Control Foreman/Logistics Team Lead Location: Afghanistan Dates: 2012-2013 Description: In 2012, I assumed responsible for a six-member logistics management team and later led a team of five responsible for the shipping and storage of 1250 containers within an airfield. In addition to serving as team lead, I was also the certified inspector and trainer within the group. This entailed conducting regular inspections and gathering documentation regarding status and discrepancies. I also ensured that all daily operations, processing, and shipping complied with department objectives and external regulations. Building strong and positive relationships with corporate representatives and military personnel was key in coordinating smooth operations and accurate shipments. There was also a strong component of training in these roles and I focused on equipment usage, database management, and documentation requirements within my formal training sessions while coaching and mentoring my team to success on an informal, daily basis.Company: DynCorp International FZ-LLC Title: Logistics Trainer Location: Afghanistan Dates: 2011-2012 Description: In my first role with DynCorp, as a member of the training team, I designed and delivered instruction on logistics and transportation in the field. I also created various materials to support learning and content retention, from computer tutorials, to visual aids, and reference materials. Our training teams goals were not only to provide quality instruction but to ensure that all trainings were consistent to the goals of our organization and our partners. We identified areas of opportunity to improve methods and delivery and implemented instructional best practices across the organization. I was invited by senior management to participate on a special team to analyze and enhance property management systems.

Iraq

My last assignment I augmented the Military @ US Division South, Division HQ working in the Division Transportation Office ( DTO) assisting as a SME in Container Management. I earned The Commanders Award for Public Service given to me by Major General Eddy Spurgin, Commander of the 36th Infantry Division.

I had oversight of 18 Thousand Shipping & Storage Containers. I am a SME ( Subject Matter Expert ) in Container Management. I was a Instructor to the military & civilians. I also instructed The AMMO 43 Field Inspection course, to determine the Sea Worthiness of shipping containers via Inspection. I briefed many in / out bound units for the proper care of the USG Assets.

I augmented the 1st I.D. & the 36th I.D. in the DTO or Division Transportation office of US Division South, Division HQ in Basrah, Iraq. I hold a US DOD Level II SECRET Security Clearance required in order to work in Division HQ. I received a Leadership Coin from the Deputy Commanding General & The Commanders award for Public Service from the Commanding General of USD-South Division HQ.
