Its Graduate School offers and administers over 50 graduate degrees and certificates to approximately 2,100 students.The duties of the Assistant Director for Financial Aid in the Graduate School include the following responsibilities:Budgeting:Multi-year planning and reconciliation of scholarship, gift, and endowed accounts of more than $6 million.Stewardship:Assuring that donor restrictions of endowed and gift accounts are met and upheld. Preparing annual reports. Meeting with donors to present outcomes of their support.Administration and Management:Managing three annual financial aid competitions for merit-based fellowships, assistantships, and scholarships. Issuing award contracts and recording responses. Processing I-9 employment forms. Forming and presiding over multiple award selection committees. Maintaining financial aid databases and working with IT on program enhancements and updates.Customer Service and Collaboration:Working closely with university constituents (staff and faculty at all levels). Counseling and assisting a diverse group of domestic and international students on financial aid.Presentations and Publications:Attending and speaking at orientations, open houses, and recruiting events as required. Producing and editing financial aid content for web pages and brochures.
