Pre-employment ChecksAdminister the UHS recruitment process in line with all procedural,legislative, statutory, and other required standards including but notexclusive toNHS Employers standardsUK Border AgencyProfessional RegistrationHR Internal process and desktop procedures To review applicant files to ensure all pre-employment standards aremet and advise applicants on pre-employment standards.Interact with candidates to update them on the current status of theirchecksChase and obtain references for our candidatesProvide regular updates to recruiting managers on the status of theircandidatesCheck professional registrations where applicableRun right to work and identify checksAdminister the occupational health checking processOffers and Payroll input To send out unconditional offers ensuring KPIs and turnaround timesare met. To produce and send out contracts of employment for new starters andvariations of contract To provide the HR Operations Team with candidates that have bookedstart dates ensuring their contractual information has been agreed withthe manager Book candidates onto trust inductionUnpaid Placements and Medical Locum Bank To oversee the unpaid placements for non-medical staff Liaise with the university and put in place letters of access for unpaidplacements Check against any service level agreements in place for unpaidplacements Obtain pro forma’s/pre-employment compliance where applicableGeneral To support recruiting managers with queries and provide advice on theentire recruitment processes. To maintain and cleanse the recruitment system to ensure KPI’sare met, and candidates are recruited efficiently and effectively Regular support of the reception desk function to complete IDcheck appointments with candidates Produce ID badges To advise managers, applicants and employees on basic terms andconditions queries To action email account(s) ensuring that all emails are processed.
