Thomas is a Transportation and Traffic Engineer who has been with Traffic Engineering Solutions since 2017. Thomas graduated from The University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) specialising in Civil Engineering. Thomas's experience covers a broad spectrum of Transportation and Traffic Engineering. While at TES, Thomas has been involved in various concept, scheme, detailed design and construction level transportation and traffic engineering projects, which required producing high quality CAD plans that included resolving traffic, roading, road safety, stormwater / drainage, public transport and lighting issues.Thomas actively liaises with Auckland Transport clientele to ensure plans are produced to the highest standard with the latest Auckland Transport Code of Practice and Resolution guidelines. Thomas is also responsible for the Management, Supervision and Quality Assurance of a number of Auckland Transport projects, ranging from large scale intersection upgrades to mitigation solutions on new bus routes, which allow double decker buses to operate safely. Furthermore, Thomas has extensive AutoCAD drafting experience and is proficient with AutoTrack / AutoTurn as well as traffic modelling packages such as SIDRA and TRANSYT.
