Understand the collection and processing of tactical and wide area mapping. The types of data collectedwere both Electro Optical imagery and LiDAR. Ensured proper collection of data for accuracy and quality.Processed raw LiDAR and Electro Optical data to final products. Color balance and ortho rectify imagery.Form a mosaic of imagery into seamless maps. Processed GPS trajectories, edit LiDAR point clouds, andcreate digital elevation models. Performed QA/QC and performed proper data management. Ensured the proper data and metadata structure was used so the client was able to access the data within a specific format.Deploying overseas presented unique challenges with hardware and software due to limited accessto support personnel. While deployed I developed strong problem solving skills to overcome thesechallenges. This process also requires effective communication with government clients to keep themup to date on what is happening and why.Operated and maintained airborne LiDAR and Electro Optical imagery acquisition systems as a SensorOperator. Created Scripts/Models/Macros in multiple GIS/LiDAR platforms. Created a variety of digital mapping and remotely sensed products using various software platforms.Worked with FEMA in disaster relief by completing imagery analysis. Some of the locations that wereaffected by natural disasters were Puerto Rico, Texas, and Florida. For these locations I was able to identify damage to critical infrastructure and residential property.

Knowledgeable of the FEMA map making process.Expert in floodplain management and federal regulations. Customers who had large construction projectswould need to identify the impact on the flood plain. This would involve hydrologic analysis based ondata FEMA has and I would coordinate how to access this information. These projects would also needto identify what the federal regulations are for their specific construction needs and I would cite thedocumentation for what they were seeking.
