HDS acquired BlueArc, so this was returning after my summer work.I initially joined as a Graduate Software Engineer, before promotions to Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer.I worked on Hitachi's flagship NAS product (HNAS) for 3 years, focusing initially on the file serving protocols stack (NFS, SMB, etc.) before I moved to become a founding member of a specialised team within engineering for delivering deal-critical customer features, focused on reacting quickly to changing demands and reducing time to market.I’m now involved in Hitachi’s new Hyper-Converged Scale-Out Platform (HSP), where I work chiefly on the distributed file system, providing technical leadership and fulfilling the role of Scrum Product Owner for the UK team.
