After having worked in the residential construction industry for some time, it became apparent that there was a need for a Building Design Studio that not only offers beautiful designs,but a studio that could balance design with budget and cost effective construction methods. As the Client Liaison & Internal Construction Coordinator, I was responsible for managing clients from the time they made their first inquiry until the time that construction commenced on their new home. During my time in this role, not only did I ensure that all of my clients needs and expectations were exceeded, I also spent time developing new policies and procedures to assist in making the clients building experience an enjoyable one.

As the building designer, it was my role to work with our clients from the time of their initial enquiry through to the time we handed over the keys to their new home. First and foremost I ensured that our clients ideas and dreams were transferred into working drawings through the use of CAD based software, with a focus on supplying our clients with in-depth 3D views and models. Not only was I responsible for working with clients to design their new homes, I also liaised with the relevant local authorities and professionals to gain all of the relevant approvals prior to the commencement of construction. As I continued to grow in this role, my responsibilities grew to also include feasibility studies of small scale residential subdivisions as well the oversight of these developments through the necessary approval processes.

As a Cadet Certifier, my responsibilities included liasing with builders and the relevant regulatory authorities in order to be able to issue a building approval as well as carrying out the necessary inspections on residential construction sites.
