Assess Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Terrorist Financing and overall client risk of CMB new and existing customers (including Business Banking, Middle Market, Large Corporates, Commercial Real Estate). Reviews the Know Your Customer (KYC) profiles of customers at onboarding and during periodic and event-driven reviews. Evaluates information from KYC Services to determine the Bank’s appetite to onboard or maintain the customer.

Responsible for credit and financial data analysis of businesses and individuals that were applying for credit to determine the risk associated. Involved financial statement review and credit report due diligence of prospective borrowers. Required expertise with all Business Banking and credit scoring applications.

Anti Money Laundering Compliance Analyst• Assess Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Terrorist Financing and overall client risk of CMB new and existing customers (including Business Banking, Middle Market, Large Corporates, Commercial Real Estate). Evaluates information from KYC Services to determine the Bank’s appetite to onboard or maintain the customer.• Determine the progression of files, the business and compliance approvals needed to bring on or maintain a customer relationship, based on the risks presented in the customer’s KYC file to assess money laundering and terrorist financing risks, as well as whether the customer fits with the Bank's overall risk appetite• Assist Relationship Managers and CBG Compliance with account closure procedures, as needed.• Support Relationship Managers, Commercial CBG Compliance, AML Compliance, and management through the course of the review effort.
