As the Contracts Manager for this Advanced Weapon and Space Systems firm, my responsibilities include proposing, negotiating and administering Federal contracts associated with highly visible and advanced technological programs. Monitoring these projects from cradle to crave, I ensure cost and schedule performance, mitigate risk areas, ensure compliance with terms and conditions as well as conformance with Small Business requirements. I was required to exercise considerable latitude in determining contractual objectives and approaches to assignments, wherein, my decisions heavily influenced the course of my assigned programs. As the Proposal Coordinator I engaged directly with all aspects of the Proposal Team, including Subcontracting/Procurement, Engineering, Cost Analysts, and the IPT's. It was my responsibility to ensure the proposal package was complete, accurate and keeping with the profit ratios the Program demanded.
