I am a retired New Castle County police officer (23 years) and then hired with The State of Delaware Alcohol & Tobacco Enforcement as an Agent (p.o.). I am currently assigned as the Executive Staff Admin Agent, Regulatory Hearing Agent (regulatory prosecutor), Community Outreach, Evidence Control Agent, Driving Simulator Coordinator and hold several additional positions within the agency. I excel in all types of criminal investigations with a specialty in alcohol and tobacco interdiction investigations, TRACE, criminal, background and regulatory investigations. I served as a Federal Task Force agent for FDA-Office of Criminal Investigations investigating counterfeit tobacco and worked nationally investigating crime syndicates which involve tobacco smuggling and interdiction strategies. I spent 5 years as a SWAT member trained as sniper and various entry team positions. I am trained in executive protection and driving. I have managed and supervised personnel, unit budgetary items and grants. I am a Certified Crash Reconstructionist, Expert Pistol and Rifle master and proficient in other semi- auto weapons. I am CQC trained, and I have been a Police Academy Instructor for over 32 years at various police academies and police departments in the country. I Initiated the first Interdiction Unit with our agency in 2011 and became the first "Agent of the Year" in 2012. I have also spoke Nationally in reference to tobacco interdiction, counterfeit production and illicit contraband tobacco identification. I am also assigned the most difficult Background investigations for both my agency as well as being requested to do Background investigations for other Departments. I have received numerous commendations for Bravery and Merit as a police officer for New Castle County Police Department, as well as being recognized by the State and County Government for my work in other area's serving both Governments, both in investigations as well as dedication to duty.I am a Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Mt. Hood AE-29 and the USS Compte De Grasse DD-974 as the Quartermaster of the boat. Quartermaster in the navy are the navigators of the boat. I was also the Master Helmsman for General Quarters and Underway Replenishment.
