Responsibilities included Supplier delivery & quality performance, Low cost sourcing initiatives, LTA management and new programs.➢ Led the implementation of AF Castings being either level loaded or lotted, which played a critical role at improving MRP delivery performance from ~25% MRP in 1Q10 to greater than 85% delivery performance at year end.➢ Airfoil Castings was 52,000 airfoil castings behind schedule. Airfoil castings finished year 2010 less than 2,000 castings behind schedule. This represented an airfoil “historic” low overdue! ➢ Directed the ACE effort to ensure Raw Materials attained ACE Bronze recertification in June 2010. In fact, the ACE assessment noted the high level of ACE participation / knowledge /use-of-ACE-tools from / by the AF Casting Team. ➢ TMC had to schedule 133 weeks of unscheduled furlough, due to lack of airfoil castings. These unscheduled furloughs not only ended, but the TMC needed to work through the scheduled furlough week as well. ➢ Led the AF Casting Strategic Sourcing Strategy, in order to gain leverage. Drafted CAR, which would enable dual sourcing of 40% of the airfoil casting volume. ➢ Airfoil Castings achieved the 2010 inventory plan. In addition, AF Castings reduced 2010 MRP in 4Q2010 by greater than $8M by working with Suppliers to push requirements out to YR 2011. This was done in a collective effort to meet the MC&O Inventory goal.
