Project: Construction of 35 kmtr highway (Expressway program) from Sheehaniya to jimiliya right from the enabling works. All infra works which includes but not limited to Potable Water, Storm Drainage, Electricity (HV/LV), Box Culverts ( 2cells ),Bridges,Camel Underpass, Roundabout and Roads with traffic lighting.Duties & Responsibility: Ensure HSE POLICY is communicated effectively down the line.Develop recommendations for the improvement of procedures, practices and activities directly or indirectly involved in effective execution of HSE functions by site management.Monitor HSE performance data and trends and give proactive advice and support.To investigate first aid cases, near misses and dangerous occurrences and to suggest remedy to the ManagementAudit the site from a regulatory and management system perspective and recommend actions to address deficiencies.Participate in the review of all serious incidents and accidents.Collaborate with the Project Manages in the development and preparation of HSE Meeting agenda.To maintain emergency preparedness and initiate Emergency response, assisting in rescue drills, evacuation drills.Provides leader ship to the site for the implementation of HSE Procedures and safety management concepts.Reinforces safe behavior and corrects unsafe behavior.

All infra works which includes but not limited to Potable Water, Irrigation, Sewerage, Storm Drainage, Electricity (HV/LV), Box Culverts ( 2cells and 4cells ),Bridges, Telecom, Sewerage pumping stations, Treated Sewerage Effluent, Potable Water Pumping Stations , Substations and Roads with traffic lighting.Responsibilities:Ensure that safety standards are maintained and continually seek ways to improve safety StandardsEnsure implantation of best safety practicesAdvise Management on all matters pertaining to safety and health including compliance Ensure that all personnel have received appropriate safety and health training as stipulated in HSE manualPlan and implement safety and health programs and promotional activities (e.g. inspections, campaigns and competitions) that will improve safety and health awarenessMaintain a system incident reporting, investigation and analysis as stipulated in the HSE manualConduct Safety Department Review at least once every month to review the achievements of the Safety and Health Objectives and improvements to the HSE manualUpdate the Safety and Health Manual and follow-up on recommendations of safety committees or relevant authoritiesInvestigate and report all reportable accidents: internally to relevant persons, and externally to the relevant authorities Maintain relevant safety records, records and certificates required under the Company policy & local RulesBrief and instruct sub-contractors on the safety and health procedures and instructions that they and their employees are required to comply withMonitor and maintain safety and health, prevent and fight fires, respond to accidents and control environment pollution
