Being a happy and passionate person, confident and determined has allowed me to inspire trust and motivation in the people around me. A resilient mentality, being self-critical and high durability even under intense pressure enables me to adapt quickly, identify what's important and make logically sound decisions with a touch of intuition. It is in my nature to be proactive and taking on responsibility, while at the same time honestly facing the consequences of my actions and accepting criticism. These attributes originate from a desire to learn, understand and improve myself and my surrounding. This allowed me to acquire substantial team management and leadership experience by initiating and being involved in many projects. Focused studies as a physics major and innovative multi-faceted research, culminating in a doctoral degree from ETH Zurich, have equipped me with a sharp analytical mind and solid technical abilities.Work experience and management skills were acquired working as a scientist in a top university (ETH Zurich) and collaborating with international institutes and industry partners. Working for 16 years as teacher and educator has taught me presentation-, people-, motivation- and leadership skills as well as insight into group dynamics. The highly valuable experience of hardship, digging in and working with a wide range of different people were collected working on construction sites and metal workshops, adding to my work ethics as well as understanding of dependency (personal, work-flow and supply chain) and rigid time-lines.My years of experience in data analysis and my desire to explore new territory have led me to the exciting field of retail consulting. A field where besides my analytical skills, my abilities to present, engage and convince are highly sought after and quickly improving. My analytical thinking turned out to be a great foundation for developing business strategies and find efficient and smart solutions for all areas of business.My latest adventure is quite some experiment: being the Product Owner of two internal departments (Human Resources and People & Organisation Development) for Switzerland's largest Online Retailer. I am very lucky to work at Digitec Galaxus with some fantastic people and work is fast, agile and fun.
