Profile bio

About Thomas Matthews

I am the asset lead for two clinical anti-sense oligonucleotide programs, which includes coordinating manufacturing and operational support for asset development, including leading a cross-functional team, managing timelines, risks, and communication with governance bodies. I lead a team of analysts focusing on raw material characterization and control as well as forensic investigations for biopharmaceutical and gene therapy manufacturing. Using Statistica, Tableau, and MATLAB I design and develop data informatics and statistical systems for relating large material analytical data sets to real-world impact on biopharmaceutical manufacturing. I develop, qualify, maintain and continuously improve Rapid ID systems leveraging fast spectroscopic techniques (Raman, X-Ray Fluorescence) for raw material release testing in an automated warehouse environment. I have extensive experience developing and implementing PAT systems, including developing Raman PAT of mammalian cell culture implemented at manufacturing scale for the control of glucose and lactate.Specialties: Raman spectroscopy, Bruker BRAVO, multivariate data analysis and chemometrics, Tableau, Statistica, MATLAB, spectroscopic imaging, raw material analysis

Listed skills include Spectroscopy, Microscopy, Optics, Chemistry, and 22 others.
