Civil Engineer Alumni at the University of Arkansas. My professional interests lie in the transportation and environmental areas of civil engineering. Throughout my studies, I have developed a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and gained practical experience in asphalt mixture research as a Research lab assistant.My work as a research lab assistant has equipped me with valuable skills in data analysis and lab test procedures. I also have experience in on-site construction projects. During the summer of 2023, I worked as a civil/mechanical intern in a solar project, where I gained valuable experience in project management. I participated in daily meetings with the client, scheduling, and cross-functional teams. I also gained hands-on experience in the development of the project at different stages.I immersed myself in the construction culture and learned the importance of safety in the work environment. I was part of safety training, safety walks, and safety seminars. These work experiences helped me improve my communication skills, leadership skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.I am fluent in Spanish, which has enabled me to engage with diverse communities and broaden my perspective on infrastructure challenges. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to address these challenges and contribute to the development of sustainable infrastructure solutions.
