About Thomas Mayhew

I am a trial lawyer, and love that one part of my job is to learn about the complexities of different business contexts well enough to effectively cross-examine experts in the field, and to crystallize and teach the concepts to judges, juries, arbitrators, and negotiating adversaries in language that is simple, understandable and relatable. My practice includes representing plaintiffs and defendants in complex business disputes, including contract and fraud cases, consumer class actions, unfair competition and false advertising, technology, and securities cases. I don’t specialize in one area of business litigation: clients hire me for judgment and creativity, and because I become a specialist in the facts and law of their particular situation. My strength is in strategy and pragmatic problem-solving, and coming up with the best solution for a client’s current issue or case, rather than applying a playbook or cookie cutter approach.
