I am the co-founder of ‘Praxis Performance’, a coaching company specialising in youth athletic development.Our mission is to help as many young people as possible in reaching their maximum potential, in sport & in life. We aim to bridge the gap between professional and grassroots sports by providing elite level coaching backed by sports science principles.Our service centres around the development of fundamental movement skills, providing young people with a progressive pathway to develop their athletic qualities. This gives them the best chance of achieving their activity goals.By equipping young people with physical confidence and competence, we drastically increase their chances of living a healthy life.We are interested in hearing from organisations who are passionate about creating a healthier nation by improving physical activity provision for young people.

Key Responsibilities include:-Planning and delivering high-quality pitch and gym-based Strength and Conditioning sessions with the goal of developing faster, stronger and more robust players-Monitoring the progress of youth players and give informed feedback on their physical development.-Work flexibility within a Multi-Disciplinary Team to meet the needs of the Player Development Program -Partaking in Continuous Professional Development to ensure that all the content delivered is backed by current research-Demonstrating energy and enthusiasm, with the goal of creating a high performing environment that can inspire the future of Woman’s Football

At ERCL, I work as part of a coaching team spanning over 10+ sports to delivery high quality sessions within the local community. I lead weekly sessions in Gymnastics and Football, working with children from the ages of 4 to 12 to develop fundamental movement patterns and sports specific skills. Responsibility’s include planning and adapting sessions on a weekly basis, organising class lists, feedback with parents and growing participation rates.

At Giffnock, I coach within the academy section working with players from the age of 3 and 4, all the way up to senior school. This is an incredibly fast paced environment as the sessions run back to back with over 300 kids passing through our gates each week. My responsibility is to ensure the wellbeing of these players, putting on organised and fun sessions to ensure that players keep coming back and hopefully fall in love with the game of football

Supporting Under-13 to Under-16 players with age and position appropriate S&C to facilitate optimal athletic performance.Educate players on the importance of good nutritional and recovery practisesMonitor player progression in alignment with LTAD protocols.Implementation of relevant and appropriate fitness testing, to be done at certain points throughout the year

Help implement training programs that help athletes improve their performance through increased strength and endurance
