I’ve watched even much newer micro specialty roasting companies with considerably less experience grow up into much larger concerns. And some of them have been bought up by the Mega concerns. I think it’s finally about time for my co. to grow up a just little, too. I’d like to pass my ever so numerous tricks of the specialty coffee trade and coffee roasting on to the next generation. I’ve been scouring the world looking for a limited investment partner to collaborate with in our planned expansion. It hasn’t been easy to say the least. But I have a great investment opportunity (much of it collateralized) and I think a very exciting adventure initially here in Japan and eventually worldwide for the right person or co. I’m realistic and I don’t expect anyone to just start wiring their or their companies precious capital to Japan. I only hope that a serious and capable investor will come over here to Japan and spend a few days having me guide them around. Our area of central Japan is very beautiful so it is sure to be at least a nice tour if nothing else. There’s not much risk in that.I know that investors these days seems to be just only crazy and focused about crowd funding platforms, crypto currencies, block chain or whatever the next disruptive tech. or software application is. I’m sure it’s all great and they make money much easier than running a capital intensive business such as mine. However, I would like a limited partner(s) that wouldn’t just bring money into the equation with a focus on making money and nothing but money.
