My name is TJ McCann and I work for Diageo as the strategy finance manager for the North American supply operation, based out of Washington D.C. As the finance support for strategic projects I strive to deliver key business insights through investment modeling to inform critical decision making. Highlights of my role are below.• Strategic Priorities and Footprint optimization- Financial modeling to optimize strategic priorities and supply footprint. Support decision making and execution through glide path and NPV modeling• Delivery of 2030 Sustainability goals- holistic tracking of all investments and P&L impacts of ESG projects. Partnering with global teams to ensure plan delivery and drive value creation• North American CAPEX program delivery- Build CAPEX business cases to support growth and improvement initiatives by modeling cash flows• Mergers and Acquisitions- ensuring comprehensive and consistent assessment of all M&A activities, including footprint choices, contractual set ups, and accounting and tax implications. I am a graduate of Penn State University’s Schreyer Honors college, and have also earned my MBA from Auburn university in May 2022.Outside of work I am an avid endurance athlete, focusing on triathlons. My biggest accomplishment to date was finishing the Louisville Ironman.
