I have extensive experience in various aspects of civil litigation, primarily on behalf of defendants, including in claims alleging or relating to personal injury and/or property damage (to include defense of motor carriers and their drivers, insurance company policyholders and product manufacturers), construction defect, insurance coverage, land use, labor and commercial litigation. I also represent three municipalities and serve as their Town Attorney. I have extensive experience in litigating in the State and Federal courts of Maryland, as well as the United States District Court and the Superior Court for the District of Columbia. I have tried numerous cases to verdict. I am a member of the Steering Committee of the American Law Firm Association's Transportation Group. I also served as the Chair of the Construction Law and Litigation Committee of the International Association of Defense Counsel and have been an active member of the Defense Research Institute. I have taught several courses on insurance coverage and trial tactics. I have also served his community as the President of his local community organization. I am barred in Maryland, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
