Proto-Power Corp. became Zachry Nuclear Engineering, Inc. in May 2009Responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of the Project Management Organization thatmanages 150 – 200 projects per year for a value of $25 – $30 million dollars. Responsibilities include:• Development and implementation of the company wide strategy and tactical approach for Project Management Excellence.• Providing vision and leadership to determine project management goals, monitor performance and goal achievement related to schedules, budgets and customer satisfaction.• Supervision and oversight of the Project Management Organization for implementation of project management processes and practices for planning, execution and closeout of engineering and design projects.• Supervision and leadership of the Project Management Organization for resource planning with engineering management for project execution and overall company project workload.• Communicate with and establish working relationships with customer and internal organizations to maximize project efficiency, responsiveness and resource allocation.. • Establishment of project control techniques for project execution including detailed estimates, schedules, earned value techniques and project plans.• Establishment of a company-wide master schedule from individual project schedules which established the basis of earned value as a project management forecasting tool. • Establishment of budget techniques (including an earned value management system) for the forecast of project budgets for both internal and client project reviews.• Establishment, management and measurement of key performance metrics and provide ongoing analysis of project related activities.
