I am interested in all types of Intellectual Property, but my passion is patent law. For as long as I can remember, I considered myself to be science person and my schooling reflected that belief. The majority of my classes at Xavier University were pre-med courses which led to me earning a Biology minor. Surprisingly, the science part of my brain continued to grow during law school, where I focused my spare time on anything related to intellectual property. Courses like Intellectual Property, Patent Law, Patent Prosecution, and IP Drafting focused my career ambitions toward becoming a patent attorney. Now that I am starting my legal career, I hope to use my technical skills related to the law, as well as my understanding of the processes that make the natural world, to help inventors protect their intellectual property by all legal means available.I am currently taking a study course for the USPTO registration examination which I will take in the summer.
