Operating in a Multi Crew environment on a PA31 I am responsible for the following duties; Conducting flights with strict adherence to the SOP’s, assist the PIC in the management and operation of the flight; fuelling the aircraft, providing a thorough pre-flight aeroplane inspection, assisting ground ambulance crew with patient transfer, conducting patient and passenger briefings, completing post-flight aeroplane inspections.Due to the nature of the job these tasks are normally conducted in an emergency situation where time and efficiency is critical. It’s extremely important that each task is completed in a controlled professional manner, managing both external pressures and remaining calm and focused in the task at hand.

Coordinating and leading multi-million pound projects with electrical engineers, production mangers, civil engineers and contractors. Constantly reviewing and evaluating to make sure each project in completed on time, on budget and to the highest possible standard. The fact I have been directly involved in each sector of the business has given me a greater insight to the possible 'pinch' points or indeed how we can develop or improve the overall efficiency of the business. This is done through shear hard work with constant evaluation and reviewing to adapt or making changes where and when required.

This role involved working shifts which could consist of late nights and early mornings to complete the job at hand. Providing exceptional customer service in a demanding and ever changing environment while keeping a calm and composed manner was key. What I enjoyed most about this job was it give me the opportunity to deal with a diverse range of cultures and personalities but with the common goal of making sure we provided a service that each customer came to expect and more. Through consistent high standards and with a positive can do attitude I gained promotion to Bar Manager. This give me the added responsibilities of scheduling the staff rota, stock taking, locking up and leading a team to ensure the business went from strength to strength. I also set up customer feedback questionnaires and anonymous feedback slips to review and gain feedback. This proved an invaluable tool so we could make slight adjustments or changes to help improve the overall efficiency and development of the business and service we were already providing
