His advice includes the structuring of insurance portfolios that allow for the passing of wealth to multiple generations in a tax efficient manner. Trusted relationships with clients and their advisors is the key to Tom’s success, and he takes pride in delivering the best possible service. This has not only enabled Tom to work with individuals across the U.S., but also has allowed him to develop an expertise in working with foreign nationals around the globe. To achieve this exceptional level of service, Tom belongs to some of the industry’s most prestigious organizations including Finseca, Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Tom’s experience includes being a former practicing CPA as well as over 35 years in the insurance industry. When he is not working, Tom and his wife, Susan, keep very busy with their three active children. Tom also is very involved in the community. He is the current Chair of the Avera Philanthropy Council, as well as serving on the board of both the Huether Family Match Pointe and the Avera McKennan Board of Trustees.
