Provide daily direction to a team of 16 managers & 45+ staff. Contribute towards increasing overall area performance by effectively managing significant systematic business strategy changes, whilst inspiring others and empowering the team to deliver in very tough operational climates.

Leading a team of 3 to 4 staff to achieve campaign targets and key KPI’s on a monthly & yearly basis. Providing growth for the store by creating a plan and implementing it to achieve goals and targets, job delegation, setting target & KPI targets. Sourcing potential new customers, converting them to our products and retaining the customers through world class customer service. Other daily & monthly tasks were completing rota’s, stock management (orders, counts & replenishment), training and coaching, working with internal and external stakeholders.

As a Sales Advisor I would work towards both individual and store targets. I was very successful at this by utilising a combination of my extensive product knowledge to offer excellent customer service tailored to the individual, learning how to effectively up-sell and cross-sell to increase the ATV and ultimately regularly achieve, and exceed my targets.

The role was to oversee the performance of a team of up to 12 staff to undertake a range of industrial cleans which required the use of various machines, so H&S was a key aspect. I was also responsible for ensuring all paperwork was completed on a daily weekly and monthly basis.

As a Ground Operative was to prepare the ground and carrying out any sort of paving work mainly tarring and slabbing, at times using heavy machinery to perform these tasks.
