I have worked for Spirit Aerosystems as a R&D engineer for the past nine months to help develop a process to create resin transfer mould composite parts for a commercial aircraft. This experience has allowed me to develop several areas - the various hard skills required for producing RTM parts, and the soft skills required to interact with a range of people (colleagues, project stakeholders), problem solve previously unforeseen engineering issues, and time manage various situations at once

I supported coordination of the creation of continuous professional development (CPD) courses for NMIS. The aim was to bring further education providers in Scotland together to provide a base for continuous professional development in digital manufacturing to companies in Scotland.
