Founded SwimWarrior, a progress tracking software application for competitive swim teams. Our software features a comprehensive ranking system that measures the skill level of swimmers across all strokes and distances. The design of the ranking system is heavily inspired by competitive, online video games. Our goal is to make swimming more fun, engaging and accessible for all involved. A major focus of ours is to make the user experience of the software as great as possible.

Founded and operated the J Swim Club at the MPJCC. During this time, our team grew to over 100 members, we founded a brick-and-mortar shop (Shopify for backend), successfully fundraised over $200k for state-of-the-art equipment and established a unique, gamified approach to organizing training groups.

Managed the transition of CRM software for MPJCC agency from numerous disparate systems to one, custom SalesForce solution.

Taught multiple groups of local Hyde Park kids (ages 3-­13) swimming lessons; skill levels ranging from those who had never entered the water to several age-­group competitors hoping to improve technique and efficiency. Accomplishments ● Learned how to communicate effectively to a younger audience as well as how to communicate each child’s progress to their parents ● Motivated and guided children toward the goal of bettering their swimming strokes

Became a certified Scrum Master and worked as such for two groups of interns on two in-house projects (an app deployment platform, AppLauncher, and an app for the Lurie Family Hospital).Accomplishments/Duties● Learned the ins-and-outs of agile development as a scrum master earning an official certification● Worked daily in Rally to track the application development lifecycle for 2 week sprints● Responsible for user acceptance criteria and quality assurance testing● Worked closely with Product Owner and design team to create prototype mockups of upcoming work● Worked closely with development team to facilitate scrum and track burndown● Lead two teams to build, test and deploy two fully functioning mobile applications● Presented and demonstrated both applications in front of the company as well as a panel of executives from other companies● Participated and finaled in Express Day, the company’s 24 hour hackathon and learned how to conceptualize a product and present a demo of that product in only 24 hours with the use of an MVP and strong presentation

Founded a software startup company, Clustur Mobile, with the mission of connecting college students to events happening on their respective campuses through a cross-platform mobile application. Lead a product team from concept to market, designing the application from the ground up. Solidified angel investment to outsource the development of the product. While in development, I acted as the product owner, in the scrum process (outsourced team used agile approach).Accomplishments/Duties● Created concept and founded a team around the product development● Drafted User Experience design flow and worked closely with design partner to bring our ideas to life● Sought funding from local Angel Investors for overseas development● Outsourced and managed the project oversees to a company in India

Developed and released a game, Fat Fish, for the Apple App Store during my Senior year of High School. Worked with a friend on the game design, dynamics and soundtrack/musical elements while programming the game logic myself. The game sold over 4,000 paid downloads in 15 countries and the free version totalled 11,000 unique downloads. In the first month Fat Fish broke into the top 25 most downloaded ‘Action/Adventure’ titles. After the initial release in September, we proceeded to release to major holiday updates on Halloween and Christmas both of which included new designs, soundtracks and levels. Each release doubled the number of playable levels.Accomplishments/Duties● Created concept and game art/design, programming logic/behavior and soundtrack/musical elements● Successfully deployed application through Apple App Store review process● Lead marketing campaign, both locally and online to spread word on the release● Worked with several blog groups to publish reviews of our game and increase PR● Sold over 4,000 paid downloads and over 11,000 unique free downloads for a total of over 15,000 downloads in 15 countries
