Gina Krog ProjectOverall Responsibilities• Be able to use a practical approach to mechanical engineering problems and be familiar with the requirements/interactions of other engineering disciplines.• Ensure that Statoil's HSE requirements are met throughout all phases of the project.• Ensure that the operating and maintenance requirements are met in the design, so that changes can be avoided during construction.• Provide operational advice and guidance to ensure operation and maintenance friendly solutions.• Check P&Id’s, drawings, diagrams, constructability reviews and EPCH supervision.• Participate in the preparation and execution of commissioning activities on dedicated systemsand areas within the field including QA activities.• Ability to assess that the design of drawings, diagrams and other relevant information are in accordance with Authority laws, Company Codes, Industry Design Codes/Standards, Scope of Work and Design Basis using, using PC based programs, manual calculations and experience.• Ensure that the necessary LCI documentation establishing the right time and with the right quality.• Ensure timely completion of Purchase Order requisitions for all mechanical packages, and ensure that they are in compliance with the project requirements.
