About Thomas Mentel

A one-stop, jack-of-all-trades filmmaker who can take a project from idea to final video export.Over the last ten years I have a built up a body of work that includes everything from pre-production through post-production. I have shot short films, countless webseries, and ads for clients such as Vox, JC Penny, and A&E Lifetime. Short films I have been involved with have screened at festivals across the United States. My most recent film 'No Big Deal' is currently in the early stages of a festival run and served as my thesis at Columbia University.Before pursing an MFA, I served as a post-assistant and vault manager at Chainsaw Edit from 2009 to 2011.
