I have a wide-ranging practice advising clients on litigation and investigations, M&A, and regulatory and compliance matters.I handle government investigations involving bribery, corruption, manipulation and fraud. I regularly handle white collar defense matters and have a particular specialization in commodities fraud and market manipulation investigations as well as the litigation that sometimes follows in federal court. Recently, I represented several individuals involved in the first joint DOJ/CFTC bribery and manipulation investigation. In addition to my enforcement defense and litigation practice, I have advised on the regulatory aspects of M&A transactions in the energy space that exceed $1 billion in value.Related to these practices, I often advise clients on regulatory and compliance matters, including with respect to complex commodities transactions and trading strategies, compliance programs and manuals, and providing compliance trainings.
