Responsible for challenging our existing business processes to move MIRRAT towards an Agile and Lean way of working. This role supports personnel by coaching in Agile and Lean methodologies while architecting solutions that enable the business to become more efficient using products including Microsoft Power Platform, Google Suite and Atlassian. This position is also the Product Owner for MIRRAT's Terminal Operating System and Vehicle Booking Systems which are continually evolving as new user stories are defined, planned and built by our development team using Agile.

Responsible for leading MIRRAT's Asset, Emergency, Environment, Health, Safety, Security, Quality and Training functions for MIRRAT's +5,000 Site Users and Contractors. In this role, I was able to add value by architecting solutions using a range of products in a cost-effective and compliant manner that resulted in a more streamlined approach to Risk and Asset Management. This involved working hands-on with end-users to understand their challenges and enhancement opportunities by documenting user stories and determining which features and enhancements should be developed first. By focusing on UX I was able to build MVP's which our team would voluntarily ask to use (not very common for safety tools haha) which enabled the collection of user feedback which informed our pivots towards our current solution which continues to evolve over time. Using data collected from end users I was then able to create automated dashboards which generate realtime insights for our management team that enable a dynamic data-driven management approach.

Responsible for leading Risk and Compliance functions in the Startup of MIRRAT by building Safety, Health, Environment, Emergency and Quality processes from the ground up. This involved establishing MIRRAT's Beyond Zero Harm Program which sets out our ambition to go Beyond Zero Harm using our Triple Bottom line that ensures People, Planet and Product are considered in every decision we make. From this foundation, I build MIRRAT's Policies, Plans, Procedures and associated documentation inline with the relevant ISO Standards for Safety, Emergency, Environment and Quality. Once MIRRAT was in full operation I then moved to begin automating our systems and processes which involved going to market a number of times to identify, evaluate and decide on solutions to deliver on our Health, Safety, Emergency, Environment and Quality obligations in a compliant and streamlined manner.

Tasmanian Ports Corporation (Tasports) is a State Owned Company responsible for 10 ports across Tasmania. In this role I was providing advice to the management team of Tasports to enable compliant operations and improvements to business efficiency in line with the strategic goals of the business. Key projects included event and cruise ship management, slipway management and health and wellbeing.

Responsible for leading a team of Health, Safety and Training professionals to enable safe and efficient operation of Fertiliser, Grain, Iron Ore, Nickel, Petroleum and Wood Chip berths. Being a Mine Site this role was also responsible for liaising with Mines Safety Inspectors while managing a 16 person Mines Rescue Team trained in Heights, Breathing Apparatus and Confined Space Rescue.

This role was responsible for going to market, selecting, implementing and administering a cloud-based Health, Safety and Emergency Management System across the organisation to meet legislative obligations under the Mines Safety and Inspection Act.
