While working as a Dragon Avionics & Operations Engineer, I additionally completed training for and served as a SYS1 mission operator for the CRS-22 and CRS-23 Cargo Dragon 2 missions, as well as the Crew-3, Crew-4, and Axiom-1 Crew Dragon 2 missions. This role is responsible for the operation and monitoring of all of the Avionics, Flight Software, and Structures systems during Dragon vehicle mission operations.

Responsible for the electrical system design, integration, and operation of the Dragon 2 Crew capsule, with a focus on power systems and vehicle operations.

Ownership of all electrical connectors on SpaceX flight vehicles, with responsibilities for part selection, design, qualification, quality control, material planning, and anomaly resolution.

Responsible for the mechanical design, integration, and qualification of electrical harnessing used on the Falcon, Dragon 1, and Dragon 2 flight vehicles.Developed and implemented the first wire harness qualification and test program at SpaceX, which included documenting worst-case configurations of 2000+ Falcon 9 and Dragon 1 harness interfaces, designing and procuring flight-like test articles, incorporating test articles into component vibration, shock, and thermal cycle testing, supporting any necessary anomaly investigations, and documenting all test results for external review. This effort resulted in the certification of all SpaceX harness designs for EELV Falcon 9 launches and NASA Dragon 1 re-use missions.Designed all harnessing within the initial version of the Dragon 2 commercial crew vehicle's Pressure Section from scratch, which included 2500+ wire terminations and 300+ connector interfaces used for spacesuits, environmental control and life support systems, crew displays, and instrumentation. This effort involved cradle-to-grave support, including initial requirements development, rapid iteration of new design concepts (such as spacesuit umbilicals, internal spacesuit harnessing, and life support sub-assembly harnessing), schedule management, flight article design and material planning, test article design and qualification, NASA certification, and final integration inspections. This work all culminated in the successful flight of the Dragon 2 Demo-1 mission in March 2019.

I aid fellow students in the development of proper study habits, organization methods, and subject knowledge, with a concentration in Physics and Mathematics courses. This involves working through problems, reviewing concepts, and one-on-one consultation with regard to each students knowledge of and confidence in his or her course curriculum.

I describe/oversee the running of experiments for various lab courses within the Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering Department at Parks College of Engineering, Aviation, and Technology. This involves intimate knowledge of the subject as related to said experimentation, as well as the implementation of said knowledge in the description/demonstration of any give lab.

I lead a group of 12+ undergraduate students in the design, development, fabrication, and launch of a university developed satellite that launched from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport in Wallops Island, VA on November 19, 2013. This entailed driving progress on the development of said satellite, maintaining quality insurance in said development, communicating with external launch and regulatory agencies, such as NASA, ORS, DOD, Air Force, etc., presenting before review boards in preparation for launch, and accepting responsibility for the ultimate success or failure of the mission as a whole.Along with being program manager, I have continued in my role as the Testing Subsystem lead since joining the lab. This position entails the writing of testing documentation for all functional, vibration, and vacuum chamber testing.
