My passion is to bring value for the physicians, nurses and other clinical providers using an EHR so that life is easier for clinicians and care is excellent for the patient. Over my 20 years of clinical practice and 12 years of EHR implementation/development, I have held multiple leadership roles that leverage my experience into making decisions for strategic planning, organizational development and clinical quality. I have experience in development and expansion of clinical systems, based on enterprise strategic planning, organizational development and clinical quality to allow for the transformation of care. I am Vice President, Chief Medical Information Executive at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, formerly CMIO at Cadence Health. Northwestern Memorial HealthCare (NMHC) is the corporate parent for the Northwestern Medicine health system. The health system serves patients at nearly 100 diagnostic and ambulatory sites across Chicago including seven hospitals; Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest, Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Community Hospital in Dekalb, Northwestern Medicine Valley West Hospital in Sandwich and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton. During my tenure as CMIO at Cadence we have completed a highly successful transition from McKesson enterprise to Epic Enterprise EMR to provide one system, one chart for our patients.
