Laser Light Solutions is a manufacturer of high power laser systems based on "state of the art" LD technologies. Focusing on applying laser diode technology for "end-use" laser based product systems that bring products direct to user/consumer. LLS has a complete range of capabilities from design through prototype and ultimately manufacturing. LLS also provides laser diode technical support services including process improvment/development, business optimization and diligence on mergers and acquisitions.

President/CEO of High Power Devices through February 2007 when HPD was sold to Intense Ltd. afterwhich became Head of US Operations through March 2009. Over a span of 12 years we transitioned the company from a 3 person start-up to a 55 people+, 25,000 ft2 operation with solid business fundamentals and consistent profitablity. Starting out as a 2 product company, HPD ultimately developed a diverse and broad product range, including components, modules and systems in wavelength ranges of 632-1550 nm. Combining HPD's technology/manufacturing capabilities with a talented and hard working team of individuals was the perfect formula for success.

Managed the High Power Laser wafer fabrication group. Developed new technologies, built out infrastructure and managed a lean, productive group of individuals. Experience included; MOCVD epi growth, metallizations, p-surface passivation, photolithography, wafer thinning, optical coatings, cleave and dicing. Also developed fully automated test capabilites for single devices and laser bars. Involved at the early stages of the HPLD industry and developed a full understanding and appreciation of the technology.

Lytel was an early generation start-up which provided exciting opportunity. Responsible for failure mode analysis and materials characterization of all InP devices, including; DCPBH lasers, LEDs, and PIN detectors. Also responsible for materials characterization of LPE grown epitaxial wafers, using Polaron, PL, X-ray, SEM, Electro and Cathodoluminescence
