Added features to a GitLab project creation and update program written in Python; wrote Java functions for translating between versions of US military system messages; implemented C++ classes for data ingestion from CSV and JSON files and exporting processed records as XML; wrote and applied Java code for translating between geographical coordinate systems (ECEF, LLA, and ENU) for simulation test tracks.

I was assigned to a manager who wanted to automate his team's tasks manual data entry tasks by employing a tool he heard about from colleagues: Selenium. I quickly trained myself in Selenium and Selenium WebDriver, then worked with his team to create a Java program which extracted information from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and entered it in a project management website. At the end of my tenure, we presented the prototype as a proof of concept project to other managers for future research and development.

Wrote backend functionality for the company’s internal website in Python, using the Django REST framework for database interactions; tested new feature queries and explored old data in Microsoft Server Management Studio with T-SQL; led the task of removing duplicate records from an ancillary database, and eventually migrating the data to new tables in the primary database; worked with end-users in the company to design new features and discuss issues.

As an SLI for a computer science course, I led lab periods, graded lab assignments, and worked a 2-hour shift in the department tutoring each week.
