After completing my Electrical & Electronic Engineering degree I rejoined UK Power Networks on the Engineering Graduate Program. During my first year I completed numerous placements around different areas of the business in order to gain a greater understanding of how the business operated. I spent time in Engineering Design, Investment Delivery, Distribution Planning, Network Operations and Asset Management.

Low Voltage Health Degradation Model:My main target for the year was to develop a Health Degradation Model for Low Voltage Switchgear assets. The model forecasts how the health of assets will worsen up to the end of 2023. The model can be used to assist engineers make justification for asset intervention strategies throughout ED1.
