Provided oversight on welding for shop tasks that were required such as Aluminum ducting, storage containers, hangers, and nuclear air filters, etc. Read and comprehended Nuclear blueprints in order to complete all jobs, paperwork for all jobs requires multiple manuals and task group instructions to be reviewed prior, during, and after job. Received Nuclear training months after entry to Shipyard and acquired clearance as was required. Welded procedures that required Nuclear precision welding for x-ray pipe joints. Have welding experience in EB pipe joints. Preformed welding on hull patch tasks that required many ultra sound testing’s that were first time cleared. Extensive training in welding inspections that required the use of Quality Control. Went through extensively training and certifications, such as but not limited to, Shielded Metal Arc Welding process of Carbon plate. Tungsten Inert Gas process of Carbon, Stainless, and Nickel-Copper plates; Carbon, Stainless, and Nickel-Copper Pipes; Stainless thin wall and stainless Siff piping.
