Working as part of a team for the MOBILISE project, funded by the SEAI and in collaboration with MTU, TUD and Sligo county council, I am assisting with all parts of the project in a research role as well as day to day activities and project management.

The role required: Site visits, Sales, Quotation of solar jobs, SEAI grant application, System procurement, ESB NC6 and NC7 applications, Design (Helioscope and Sketchup), Calculation of yield, Payback period calculation, Organisation of contractors, Trouble shooting, Customer care and Installation. Start to finish one stop shop for domestic and commercial solar installations.

Working as part of my family business I worked in the signage department. In this role we measured shop fronts and required signage for local business as well as wraps for vans and company vehicles. The designed media was then fitted on site or in the workshop as per the design teams specifications.

Working on sites all around Ireland, I worked as a fitter. We were responsible for receiving materials on site and installing them as per the job specification while adhering to site rules and health and safety rules

In Abbott I worked as part of the QA team. Here I assisted QA personnel in day to day tasks such as CAPA investigation, approval and implementation of SOP's, implementation of cGMP procedures and any other tasks involved with Quality in manufacturing.

Starting off in customer service and sales, I progressed to being a tour guide and regional manager of the south west. Working with Paddywagon was very busy year round, operating local day tours and private tours in the summer. In winter tours were still going regularly but we would also organise relations with colleges and get students out on tours. This was a very fast paced and competitive environment which I really enjoyed

As a Quality Control (QC) analyst, duties included: Support for manufacturing of agricultural chemicals, from raw materials to end product, including documentation of batch records and batch adjustments. Maintenance of the lab, including daily calibration of instruments & equipment set-up. Production of buffers and mobile phases required for quality control testing. Collaboration with purchasing to forecast lab needs.
