Metering consultancy - from concept to completion. I will be providing client focussed support for fiscal and environmental Metering activities including uncertainties, audits/compliance, operational maintenance, calibration support, new system design and where needed I can provide a practical demonstration of fluid dynamics. Allocation/Hydrocarbon accounting activities including design and review. I have a desire to pursue metering and allocation activities into the Energy Transition. I’ll be looking to work with Hydrogen and CCUS businesses.

Hydrogen is an enabler for decarbonisation of hard to abate sectors and Shell have an ambition to develop/participate in H2 production. My role will be to support H2 projects in negotiation of contracts, analysis of value sources and assist in setting up the contract implementation & management system.

Management of Metering & Allocation audit contract, delivery of annual metering & allocation assurance plan. This included own business assurance, JV assurance and third party assurance. Using Salesforce to manage audit reporting and audit outcomes including follow up audit actions. Key part of this role was stakeholder management and regulator engagement.

As Metering Team Leader I am responsible for a team of 15 engineer and technician positions within the Metering department. These engineers and technicians are spread across 6 key clients and I provide technical support and management, whilst providing an interface with the client. Another aspect of my role is providing direct support to the Metering Manager. I am invovled in the strategic planning of the business and setting the department annual budget. My role involves recruitment and liaising with Petrofac functions, including our commercial team, to drive the business forward.

CNRI Contract Focal Point overseeing 4 offshore assets and managing the technical requirements of the contract from a Metering and Allocation perspective. The role heads up a team of 4 with responsibilities including: Project upgrades, metering system proposals, Liaison with offshore management and metering technicians. Liaison with Pipeline authorities and DECC. Audit reporting, tracking and co-ordination. Shutdown planning and coordination.Between Jan 2009 and Jan 2010 I was seconded to BP to provide metering support from the client's office where I was involved with audits, dispensations, upgrades, client meetings, monthly Mass balance reporting, KPI reporting, mis-measurements, oil sample analysis tracking, water cut monitoring and issuing gas constant updates for flow computers. This role also involved Turnaround planning and coordination.

During my time at Metco I worked on the TOTAL Elgin/Franklin contract and Talisman contract as a metering engineer and on the HESS AH001 contract as a metering & allocation engineer.
